1. Check fluid levels monthly, including oil, fuel, and hydro fluid if you have a zero turn. Low fluid levels can cause engine damage and reduce power.
2. Checking belts and wires look for cuts in the belts. If there are cuts, get rid of the belt and buy a new belt.
3. Grease parts like mower blades, tires and whatever else has Grease fittings to get smooth pushing and less work on the mower.
4. Before putting away lawnmower, make sure to remove grass clumps and clean the mower deck.
5. And if needed, sharpen the mower blade for a precise cut.
